Looks like Usain Bolt or not. Ya ya, of course the bloated version of Usain Bolt.

Oh no, I loves this pole so much, can I bring it home.

Posing shamelessly, opps .. what is the thing dropping out from my underpants.

Camwhores again !!! Me sua-koo, never see white hibiscus.

Ning Ning: Mommy, don't snap picture of Ning Ning, later everyone fall in love with Ning Ning

Ning Ning: Mommy, am I adorable?

Ning Ning with mah mah + daddy

Waterfront, Kuching

Me manoeuvre with Ning Ning in the buggy in the city. Dangerous mission (under the hot sun some more. Ning Ning happily sit in the buggy with shades on top. Wuahhh. Ning Ning, daddy really loves you, you know? )

More dangerous mission

Daddy + Ning Ning with a stainless steel hornbill statue. Hornbill is a symbolic bird for Sarawak.

Waterfront ... The building in front is the service apartment ..

More on waterfront ....

Tua Pek Kong Temple, Kuching

Apparently Tua Pek Kong temple is another tourist attractions spot in Kuching. From what I heard, this temple is the only surviving building in the town when Kuching, Sarawak was hit by military bombing during Japanese occupation. The temple misses all the bomb that fell from the sky.

Then dad make a joke about it, "Maybe the tua pek kong temple has the intelligent to avoid all the bomb leh. Like jumping here and there". Gosh, how humourous is my dad.

Huh, me taking Ning Ning + Buggy + Bag filled with bottle water climbing the stairs

Not an easy job, Nign Ning, when you are old enough to read this, you must remember that Daddy loves you so much.

The famous jumping Tua Pek Kong

Satok Market, Kuching

My friend mentioned to me that I must go to Satok Market in Kuching to have a look look and see see.

It was a very big morning market (Pasar Tani) with lots of stall. You could fine souvenir stalls, clothing stalls, food stalls, vege stalls, fish, chicken and etc etc.

Since it was recommended, then I make an effort to bring my parents, sooky and ning ning there. It was quite a warm Sunday morning. Ning Ning happily sit in her buggy while I do the "driving". Indeed it is quite a challenging drive considering that the walkway is so narrow and lots lots of people walking around. "People Mountain People Sea".

Look at me, so sweaty. Ning Ning found it interesting too ....

Some vege stalls

Dad and mom had the most joy, they bought vege, raw golok mee. Ya no joke vege to bring back to peninsula malaysia. OMG !!!

Sooky had fun too since she no need to manoeuvre the buggy around.

Tata, The Shark was there in Satok Market.

Little India, Kuching

Little India, Kuching. I wonder why this street is called Little India, there is only 1 and only 1 Indian restaurant here. The rest are either the locals (which I'm not sure whether they are Iban, Bidayuh or others. Sorry for my ignorance.) chinese doing business there. So how the Little India come into picture, I don't know. I'm still puzzle till now. Even my local friend said, it is very hard to find Roti Canai/Prata in Kuching. Hmm .. good business opportunity ... Entrepreneur out there.. Give this a thought.

Posing at Little India, Kuching

I don't wanna try that .. I'm scared I will be kill by Sooky.

SCAM from our beloved government on EPF deductions

By now, I guess a lot of people should know that the direction from government to reduce employee contribution towards EPF to be reduced from 11% to 8% starting Jan 2009 to Dec 2010 for 24 mths period.

In fact, this is a SCAM. This policy is unfair to us as the labour in this country. Government is simply trying to rip off more tax money from the people. Let see the mathematics:

Assumption:
- you didn't buy any life insurance

Case 1:
Monthly salary: RM 3000
Annual salary: RM 36000 (Considering that you do not have bonus)

8% deductions monthly: $240 x 12 = $2880
11% deductions monthly: $330 x 12 = $3960

Self deductions = $8000 (standard for everyone)

Total deductions (EPF + SELF)

8% = $8000 + $2880 = $10880
11% = $8000 + $3960 = $11960

After deduction total income - deductible income, to get the taxable income

8% = $36000 - $10880 = $25120
11% = $36000 - $11960 = $24040

Can you see the difference in taxable income? If opt of 8% deductions, you ended paying more tax at the end of financial year.

The taxable income above fall in 7% bracket.

First 20000 = $475
Subsequent times 7%

Hence

8% = $475 + ($5120*0.07) = $833.40
11% = $475 + ($4040*0.07) = $757.80

Meaning if you opt for 8% and your annual income is RM 36000 with monthly income of RM 3000, you ended up paying an extra RM 75.60 in tax to the government. Gosh.

Imagine if 1 million people pay extra tax RM 75.60. Over brilliant government simply make easy money by having extra RM 75 000 000. 00 in their pocket which is our HARD EARN MONEY. Damn in million ok !!!!!

Case 2:
Monthly salary: RM 4500
Annual salary: RM 54000 (Considering that you do not have bonus)

8% deductions monthly: $360 x 12 = $4320
11% deductions monthly: $495 x 12 = $5940

Self deductions = $8000 (standard for everyone)

Total deductions (EPF + SELF)

8% = $8000 + $4320 = $12320
11% = $8000 + $5940 = $13940

After deduction total income - deductible income, to get the taxable income

8% = $54000 - $12320 = $41680
11% = $54000 - $13940 = $40060

Can you see the difference in taxable income? If opt of 8% deductions, you ended paying more tax at the end of financial year.

The taxable income above fall in 13% bracket.

First 35000 = $1525
Subsequent times 13%

Hence

8% = $1525 + ($6680*0.13) = $2393.40
11% = $1525 + ($5060*0.13) = $2182.80

Meaning if you opt for 8% and your annual income is RM 54000 with monthly income of RM 4500, you ended up paying an extra RM 210.60 in tax to the government. Gosh.

Imagine if 1 million people pay extra tax RM 210.60. Our brilliant government simply make easy money by having extra RM 210 600 000. 00 in their pocket which is our HARD EARN MONEY. Damn in million ok !!!!!

IF ONLY IF, if you earn RM 6250 a month. Then you do not need to worry about the 8% & 11% thingy where your monthly deduction for 8% will exceed the maximum $6000 allocated for tax deductions.

Lesson learn here: Go buy insurance if your pay is low so that can help to reduce tax and in the same time provide some coverage to yourself and your family.

Crude Oil at 3 year low

Crude Oil fall below USD $50 for the first time in 3 years. Where is our further reduction?

According to our so called "smart" Shahrir Samad, government deserved to benefits from the high retail price for petrol. Apparently at RM 2 at this point, government is getting approx 0.39 cents for every litre of petrol sold.

Basket, stupid Shahrir, make profit from the rakyat hard earned money. Cilaka.

Shahrir never stick to his word. A man that is not trustworthy. He once mentioned that once, crude oil price fall below USD 72. we can have RM 1.92 per litre of petrol. Gosh.... Why it didn't happened in the Nov 18 when reduction is announced. Why are we still at RM 2 per litre. It seems that this bastard Shahrir is more concerned in protecting the petrol dealer rather than the rakyat. Oii.. johorian... are you guys bloody stupid .. voting this bloody idiot into parliament and become the minister of domestic trade and consumer affairs.

Remember a RECORD LOW... below USD $50 bucks now. If I'm not wrong, our actual retail petrol price now would be RM RM 1.40 to RM 1.48 ... We are paying more now ..... WHY WHY WHY WHY .....

BN/UMNO NOT TRUSTWORTHY ... WAKE UP WAKE UP ...

Dinner @ Hui Sing Garden, Kuching

Whenever tourist go to Kuching, Sarawak, the locals will recommend the tourist to dine at Hui Sing Garden, Kuching which is roughly 15 - 20 mins away from the city.

It took me slightly longer considering that I do not know the roads in Kuching and have to make few stops asking for directions.

Here you go, I highly recommend you all one drink call "White Lady". Apparently this drink contains lemon syrup, longan, lychee, lime, lemon, nata de coco + blended ice. Huh, it is a MUST MUST try drink. Apparently you only can find/get this drink from Hui Sing Garden and not available throughout the city of Kuching. I love it so much.

One thing I hate about White Lady is the OWNER of the stall. Since it taste so good, I was thinking getting a tapau to bring back to hotel. You know what the boss told me, "tapau? need to wait long .." + a very disgruntled face. Bastard. Got money also don't want to earn. I guess the boss simply wanted to be more environmental friendly where reduce the use of plastic bag. Bloody hell, if that is the case, change to paper cup for takeaway lar .. cilaka.

White Lady - Signature Drink of Hui Sing Garden, Kuching.

Kau Chi.. Highly recommended also. In peninsula Malaysia you will probably find kau chi made by turnip slices / sengkuang slices. But this one from the kueh stall, you will kau chi filled with pork. Huh, breathtaking, must try.

I don't know what the heck is this, apparently when we first got to the food court @ Hui Sing Garden, as usual we will look for empty table. Ok, we found one. Then suddenly the owner of the stall facing our table kept coming back to our table asking what we want to order. Bloody hell, like the disgusting flies only. So to get rid of the bloody idiot, I ordered something from his stall. Basically nothing special, chicken wing + mani vege. Taste so so only.

Kuey Chap (similar to "Mei Fan Cha Ko" with pork maw). I didn't like it, but Sooky seems to give green light for it.

Best Desert in Kuching, Mango Pudding Milk Tea

If you looking for a good desert on a sunny day.

If you dreaming for a cold drink on a hot day.

If you wanted to chill out after a long walk in Kuching city, here I present to you "Mango Pudding Milk Tea".

It is located near the intersection of Jalan Pandungan.

Restaurant name: In mandarin "Hung Cha Tao"
Price: RM 3.50
Halal: No, (the drink is halal but i guess they do served siow bee)
Wifi: No
Air-condition: Yes
Cleanliness: 3 out 5

They do serve other food ranging from appetizers to main course like western steaks/chops or gung pow chicken rice. You named it.

How the restaurant look a like?

The super tasty Mango Pudding Milk Tea

Hmmm .. so delicious ....

The Mango Pudding is so soft and smooth. Apart from that it is not too sweet and not too plain.

The Milk Tea is so milky but yet not too sweet. It is so "Tea" feels. You know what I mean, sometime we do get our Teh Tarik that is lack of tea taste. The Milk Tea above is really with "ummph". I wonder if they do use Lipton. Sorry can't spy into their kitchen.

This Mango Pudding Milk Tea is very similar to those Taiwanese Bubble Tea with Pearl. Except instead of Pearl , this brilliant shop owner replace the Pearl with the super tasty mango pudding. Even my dad n mom like it. You see that..
