Koon Kee Wantan Mee - DU - Uptown

I worked in Uptown 5. There are plenty of good food in Uptown. One particular food that really worth mentioning here is Koon Kee Wantan Mee. It is on the same row as the newly opened Uptown 37 or HSBC bank. It is also near to the LX Mode (the one that sell all the luxury car) and Uptown police station. My colleaques (Adrian, Robin, Yong) will at least frequent Koon Kee once in a week. Sometime more than that.

The price? Very reasonable, considering that

small = 3.5
medium = 4.0
large = 4.5

Considering that it is in the city and in the same time, the price of flour and egg had increased so much.

This is really a mouth watering noodles. Best in town. I understand that there is another koon kee at Petaling Street (Malaysia Chinatown), but I'm not sure if the two are related. I'll try to find out.

Below are the some of the pictures and description

Braised chicken feet with mushroom .. SF said it was okay, but she still prefer my version FAT "char siew"

Char Siew Wantan .. my favourite

The char siew is so tasty. It is sweet enough and very juicy. I don't like char siew that is dried and without the sweet taste (either honey, sugar or malt). The little fat of the char siew make it even more appealing. Apart from that, the noodle having the QQ feel make it simply marvelous. Koon Kee also added some braised chicken feet mushroom gravy on the noodles. Those combination just make this noodle as the best in klang valley. The best Wantan Mee in town.

Supplemental, Ning Ning also wanted to eat Wantan Mee, look at her .. so adorable ..
